Wonder what restaurant...you'd think they'd inform public so they can double check their account in case they ate their during the time period he was employed.

I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often.

Maybe they contacted only the affected parties and don't need to air dirty laundry on Twitter?

It probably does, but they luck out because not everyone's as petty as me

Or they're smart and only increase it incrementally so people don't notice, which would add up after a long shift.

I know its happened to me plenty of times at college bars when I leave without closing and they blow up the tab with random drinks I didn't order so they get a huge auto-20%.

Smart servers just float drinks instead of altering receipts. That's the dumbest shite you can do.

I would notice almost any variance. I save my copy and I check my card online almost daily. I'm extremely petty about that kind of thing. Probably because of all the tabs I left open in younger years like you

I think the appropriate move would be for the restaurant to notify the public, they can't be 100% sure they caught all of his forgeries. It'll get out anyways what restaurant it is, so may as well get out ahead of it.

Yep. $2 a drink, 2 drinks per table, 15 tables a night. Easy extra 200 a week.

Bartenders can double or triple that.

What if they contact everyone who used a card on ___ dates at ___ restaurant? Ask them to check their bills. Pretty sure you have 100% capture rate.

Would you want your restaurant shat upon because of some kid?
