Lyndon Johnson is responsible for our move towards being a welfare state. He deserves to be on the list.
I give him credit for being a proponent for Civil Rights, but the Great Society was what has brought us to our current situation with government entitlements.

Lincoln? That guy is the reason we have a united states and not a confederate states. Should be recognized as one of the greatest presidents of all time
