I won a 50.00 gift card to Ruth Chris for longest drive a few months back. It covered half the bill.

Fact:

There's never ever been a time at RC's when a chick has ordered any steak other than the petite filet.

Your thread suggests otherwise. Remove head from arse, log off of TD, acquire manners, and write this person a thank you note/email.

So a $50 gift card to Ruth's Chris is insulting, but a $50 gift card to Chili's would have been more appreciated?

Not too hard to figure out that you are worth exactly $50 to the gift giver. Did they even wrap it?

Let that sink in

If he was really considerate he’d have gotten a Golden Corral gift card. You could eat like a king.

You're getting downvoted, but I'm not sure why. I think it's a valid point that if you're going to buy someone a gift, buy them a whole gift. A $50 gift card to RC basically says I want you to recognize I'm rich enough to eat here regularly, but I don't want to actually pay for you to. McMansion move.

Don't be half an a-hole, be a whole one and pass on this important knowledge to the gift giver.

First off, you post in every thread

Second, a $50 gift card to RC is retarded.

It's to give to me you ungrateful turd. If somebody wants to pick up $50 of my tab, they are more than welcome and I am more than grateful.

Thanks?

I don't expect a gift from anyone as an adult, especially one that makes them feel better about themselves for putting in zero effort or thought.

would you rather pay the whole meal out of your own pocket? If not, $50 will pay for some of it. What's the issue exactly?
