Right, I know that, but has he ever tweaked one. As in 17.5 was barbell thrusters/DU, so could he do 18.5 as a “repeat” but have dB thrusters/DU.

DBs just became a big thing in the Open in 2017.

I could definitely see him tweaking 17.5 with DB trusters.

It would be pretty miserable, 50 lb dbs are like twice as hard for me as a 95lb barbell.

I tweaked something in the back of my left shoulder 4 years ago, and it limits me on high reps of DB stuff, but it’s no issue with a barbell.

I was hoping for sub 8, but just missed it. The lift sucked because my quads were done since I was still feeling the effects from Friday.

I'm going again this afternoon. I just want to finish. I don't care what my time is, I just want to get all of 18.2 finished...even if I don't get the clean.

I frickin did it. It still crushed my soul but I finished 18.2.

11:48 and a 95lb clean. Could've probably done a smidge more on clean but IDC.

I did worse and I didn’t get my clean up. I was a god damn quitter on that one.

Gave this one another attempt earlier today.

I'm beyond happy with that clean, only 5 lb off my PR. Took my time and changed into lifters after the 18A was done. The guys at the box helped will me through that 230 lift for sure.

There were people doing it yesterday instead of the normal workout. I much preferred the Monday workout, so I chose to do it. Would have liked to know if I could have finished, but oh well. If anyone is doing it today, I might because our Tuesday workout is dumb.

The last two Monday's following the open have been strength workouts. Last Monday was est 5RM BS, and then some % work based off of that number. Yesterday was EMOM Bench press stuff. I've opted to redo both 18.1 and 18.2 on those Mondays. I feel like I'm missing out. I mean, you don't miss bench press day in you CF gym.

Apparently there are Air Runners lined up today, so I may take on yesterday's

We never do it. And when I say never, I don't mean it's occasional but not often, we literally never do it. There are only two flat benches and I think one incline in the whole building.

I've been going 531 at the gym for the past 6 weeks during class time... I do bench twice a week and bicep curls in my accessory work, people look at me like I,m an weird! We never do either of those, but constantly varied ya know
