The round of 15 was a brick wall. I think I started it at the 3:30 mark and didn’t finish it due to fading bad on CTBs.

Goal is going smaller sets on the R15 on CTB so I can finish with about a minute to go and blast through those 18 Thrusters and possibly get another 2+ CTB before the cap.

93 reps scaled. I may do it again just for the hell of it.

I'm going to hit this one tonight. Hoping for 100 reps +. Will definitely hurt.

I got 83 Rx. I really suck at recycling CTB. I had to do singles starting at the set of 9.

i can do 50+ max unbroken pull-ups (butterfly), but I have not gotten down ctb as well. I will probably do quick sets of 3 on the ctb.

I don't know if I can do that many unbroken but I don't have trouble doing unbroken pull-ups.

Yeah, I just can't connect the dots on CTB. We don't do them very much, so I guess that's part of the reason.

I'm redoing this afternoon. I got 70rx Friday afternoon. My goal was 80.

Kinda sorta can't wait for this to be over. We start a squat cycle next week.

18.5 one and done

Made it to 12 thrusters and 3 C2B. I do my C2B broken so I know it slows me down. Come a long way since starting with bands on pull-ups three years ago.

I did 81 reps RX on 18.5.

Rep Scheme on Thrusters:
3 - 6 - 5/4 - 4/4/4 - 5/5/5

Rep Scheme on C2B:
All sets of 3

Everyone at the gym said to break up the C2B and to pace yourself.
So I decided on sets of 3 and to stick with that.
I was a little winded at the end but I definitely had more in the tank.
I probably could have kept the same pace for another 2 or 3 minutes.

I should have gone with my own instincts and did the C2B like I wanted in sets of 4 or 5 like I did with the Thrusters.

Oh well... I won't have a chance to redo today.. Dad/Coaching duty for T-Ball.

I started 18.5 and stopped in the middle of 12 CTBs because I was slightly behind Friday’s pace.

78. So I did better than Friday. And best of all, better than 2 years ago, although not by much. Glad this is over. Now back to work.

84 for me and glad the open is done. This was probably my worst open in the 3 yrs I’ve been doing it.
