Dave castro is a douche and an a-hole.




Scale for muscle ups is chin over bar pullups. I can't do that still. Dunno what I'll do.

Changed my mind. I'll do scaled by dong jump ups. I got no other option.

Workout 18.3
2 rounds for time of:
100 single-unders
20 overhead squats
100 single-unders
12 chin-over-bar pull-ups
100 single-unders
20 dumbbell snatches
100 single-unders
12 chin-over-bar pull-ups
Men perform 45-lb. OHS, 35-lb. DB snatches
Time cap: 14 minutes

I guess I'm just gonna have to do it with jumping pull ups and only post the WOD up until I get to first round of pull ups.

If that's the case, I may just do Rx up until the muscle ups. Although I'm not sure how many oh squats I can handle at 115 lb

This one will separate the men from the boys. There is going to be a huge drop off. Lots of skill in this workout. I’d love to finish the snatches and get to the bar MU. This one will suck.

I did it tonight and got 6 Ring MU. Getting 6 took me a little over 7 minutes.

this is going to be all shoulders and heart rate for those who can complete the movements. Keep the DU's in the wrist and heart rate down. For me it will be a sprint to finish 1 round. Anything past that is just bonus (and unexpected at this point).

The scaled OHS is so light I think I would want to use those tiny bars just to get some plates on it. Or, just pick a different weight.

I was a little surprised by the huge difference in weight on the OHS from RX to Scaled. 115 to 45 is pretty drastic. OHS is probably my worst CF movement. I don't have good shoulder flexibility.

IF I can get the OHS done, I hope I can get through all 12 of the Ring MU. I can do them and have strung 2-3 together a few times but I'm definitely not proficient with them.

I can usually do 30-40 DU without tripping so I'll work through those.

Gonna be a rough one with these difficult movements.

Hoping to get my first ring mu today. So much better at doubles this year going to push myself for a good tiebreaker time then see if I can get lucky on the rings. Pretty, just can’t put it all together.

I’m right there with ya. Depending on how long it takes me to do the ring muscle ups will determine if I get to Bar MU’s or even through them. I hope to do the rings in 3 sets of 4 but I may be too optimistic there. I’m gonna do this in a few hours.

I am thinking I'm going to just Rx as much as I can to submit, then do scaled another day for a good workout. Kinda sucks but eh.. whatever. It just means I won't be very amped for 18.3.. The juices really got flowing before that 2nd attempt at 18.2 and I was looking forward to feeling that again.

It is easy for me, I will just do Rx for the wod till the RMU and record my time for when I get there...then it is a hard pass for me. I will finish the rest scaled to try to complete the thing.
I only do about 25-30 dubs at a time, so 200 of them will be a bit of a grind. I am not real worried bout the OHS, I cant do 20 unbroken, but I dont see them taking much more than 90 seconds.

Least you got DUs.

I can do every crossfit movement except DUs and handstand walks.
