Everyone thinks Frisco is the burbs but I laugh at yall because the population center is moving north.

Here's the latest project along the DNT.

25 Story Apartment Tower

quote:

Construction has started on a luxury apartment tower that will be the tallest building in Frisco. Atlanta developer Novare Group bought a site from the developers of the Frisco Station project for the 25-story residential rental building along the Dallas North Tollway. The tower will have 332 rental units and will be just north of the Dallas Cowboys' new headquarters and practice field. It's part of Frisco Station, a $1.8 billion, 240-acre development that just opened its first phase, a seven-story office building. Construction is also underway on two hotels and a 301-unit apartment building.

Frisco is so fricking cookie cutter and boring. Happy commuting in and out.

I live I'm Dallas and I like it, but you're infatuation of the North Dallas burbs is weird. Nobody gives AF if they are building new apartments in Frisco.

Fun fact about Frisco that makes no sense at all.

Legendary openly Satanic heavy metal singer King Diamond, former lead singer of Mercyful Fate & solo artist from Denmark, lives in Frisco, Texas.

Dallas' growth was heading south (Oak Cliff, Duncanville) and southeast (Pleasant Grove) until integration busing in the 1960s.

Tons of decade-old brick homes went up for sale after the Feds played God.

Yeah, I went north of Frisco a few months back. 3 lanes everywhere with a Cane’s, major gas station, and a chase bank. No houses or anything nearby, but the infrastructure is ready for it.

You say that like it's a good thing. Unless you're in the real estate business, development sucks for quality of life.

A 25 story building wouldn't be a blip in Dallas proper. New residential construction in the city is exploding too.... Too much for my liking since they are leveling single family bungalows and building 4 500k townhouses on that 1 lot. My hood has changed so much in the past 2 or 3 years I don't recognize it anymore. It's beginning to look like the burbs with all the generic crap they are building.

I like having all that nearby to visit but I like living on the north side of Ft.Worth, lots of development going on but not overbearing.

I enjoy living somewhere that is growing.

DFW metro will be 9 million by 2027

DFW adds a whole city of Baton Rouge every about 20 months or so.
