S1 of homeland might be the greatest single season of any show I’ve ever seen. S2 started as more of the same, but jumped the shark towards the end and got pretty silly.

It’s been good in spots here and there since, but i feel like I’m watching a completely different show. The premise of s7 is ridiculous.

So tonight was interesting:

Crazy Carrie gets a new love interest with the FBI guy
The CoS and the National Security Adviser do not have personal security details

There are two plots going on IMHO - the intelligence community is setting up Wellington and Keane with the McClendon murder

The Russians are trying to topple Keane with information warfare

That was the worst excuse for “Wyoming” I think I’ve ever seen in any film or television of all time.

This show needs to end after this season, it’s time.

Tonight’s episode was damn good

Looks like it’s picking up. So is the play that the FBI agent is working with the Russians to bring down the president?

Feel bad for Wellington

Eh, he's a hack and got played but the P.

The preview made it unclear on Saul saying Carrie was heavily involved by the Russians? Was that him throwing her under the bus?

How she was not able to make that connections more quickly is beyond me.

Saul made it without any illegal survailance.

Dante is her trusted colleague from the past, now an FBI agent risking everything as her co-conspirator, fixing her arrest which would have ruined her life, helping her manage her meds, etc. That's a lot to set aside to suspect him of collusion with the Russkies, and it illustrates why an extra set of eyes is so valuable.

I agree. I didn’t see that coming and don’t think she would have either.

I like it

I'll eat crow, last night's episode was awesome and i love where this is going.

I'm just hoping we're done with O'keefe and the alt-right infidels. i was worried the entire season would focus on that.

Agree 100%. If thats in the past and its full on "Russian fake news" then It will be awesome.

yea, i thought last season ending with an american general being involved in an assassination attempt on the president was asinine, and then this season starting out heavy on O'keefe really turned me off.

We shall see how this new Russian is compared to the one they threw in the River.

That guy was legit.

You need to watch the Americans. It’s the same guy from there who is a Russian spy.

Guess the Russian actor pool isn’t diverse. Lol

It's pretty funny the number of other shows the Russians from the Americans are on.

They're excellent Russkies, I think we'd all agree.

The Americans is fantastic. It's a slow burn.

This is the last season.
