What's the loser's mentality you speak of? Does it hurt your feelings knowing there's very little that can be determined about the guy with a mere 5 starts?

Are you having difficulty with disagreement?

The alternative is you are the Browns and on your 80th QB since 2000.

You don't have to pay a guy a huge deal to avoid being the Browns. Just don't waste 1st round picks on guys like Johnny Manziel or Brandon Weeden.

Dude, I sincerely hope this is another bait you're setting because I infer it and it's pretty easy to rebut

Never, and you can certainly disagree I completely understand but the contract agreement makes sense at least to me NOW so say what you will

Wentz is good, very good. I think the verdict is still out on how sustainable his production can be, especially with Nick Foles doing so well. I'd say Wentz at minimum is like Joe Flacco, but has proven to be a lot better much earlier in his career.

Who cares, why do people who are supposedly pro capitalism get bent out of shape when players get paid?

The 9rs were struggling with attendance and had nothing going for them before he got there. They wanted to secure him for a long time. Now there's excitement and expectations for next year, good business.

The over-exaggeration is real.

They scored 144 points in 5 games with Jimmy G as the starter. They scored 187 in the first 11 games.

I'm not saying he's the next Brady, but it's not exactly over-exaggeration to say he turned a 1-10 team around at the end. They put 44 points on the Jaguars, who only gave up 30+ one other time in the regular season.

So thats why he deserves a deal as big as Matt Stafford's deal?

Well he's getting Brady money, so I don't know what else to say. More actually.

Garoppolo will make twice as much as Brady in 2018

Bortles threw 3 interceptions that game and the 49ers scored 1 defensive touchdown.

Jaguars had 472 yards to SF's 369 yards.

While Garoppolo may have played well that game, its obvious Jacksonville was shooting themselves in the foot that game, more specifically with Bortles throwing 3 picks.

But I get it, Garoppolo is an NFL legend and some what of a super hero, so even if he does normal things, its somehow better than anyone else before him. He won 5 games, start etching his plaque for the hall of fame already.

The highest paid player in the NFL was worth just a 2nd round draft pick 3 months ago

Not political theory, political PERSUASION and as a big-picture capitalist conservative independent (don't call me out on that, it's what I identify as and it's not incongruous) it frustrates me a great deal

Yeah not like he was Favre's backup and started 9 games for Philly after Andy Reid got hired.
How can you not be a SB winning HC with THAT resume?
