The edge of the Universe could be exploding and we wouldn’t know it

The farthest observation is 13.5billion light years away. Everything out there could have been exploding for billions of years before now and we wouldn’t know it yet.
Seriously how would we know if the edges of the universe are destructing right now?

yep...if I remember right, the universe is expanding at a hell of a rate...so things may happen and the light never gets back to us so we never see it happening.

There could be places exploding with life like 20 light years away. Hell Europa and Titan could have life. Mars is naturally producing methane despite the planet being dead. We don't know shite.

And it's expanding faster and faster and we don't know why.
In fact, it's expanding so fast, we are becoming more and more isolated.
Eventually, we will truly be all alone in the universe.

Question is, if it is exploding, will it outpace the sun going red giant and swallowing the earth in 5 billion years?

I think it would be neat to be staring up at the Big Dipper, then all of a sudden one of the stars just goes away.
We'd have to rename the constellation, correct?

And if it is all of us are going to be long dead before it could possibly have any effect on us. Not only that, but our entire planet and sun would likely be burned out before it reached us.

Universe is just expanding into another universe

Who cares? We're all going to die and all legacies will be wiped out regardless. Just live your life.

The sun could explode and we wouldn’t know it for like 10 minutes.

Actually.
We will never know what is happening at the corner of the universe from Earth.
At those ranges, space cumulatively is growing faster than the speed of light.
So the distance from the source to here is growing faster than the speed of light cam reduce it.

Would we know if the edge of the universe was touching itself? Can anyone definitively say that dark matter isn’t galactic ejaculate?

Limit To How Far We Can Go
This is an interesting clip that touches on the concept of the universe expanding.

The edge of the universe could be cosmically transforming into pink sea turtles and we wouldn't know...
