As she told me this weekend-Her parents fled Vietnam. She was born in a refugee camp in Thailand. They came to America legally before her second birthday but she had no proper paperwork because she was a refugee baby and essentially stateless. Her parents and siblings are all US citizens.

She was scheduled to become a citizen after turning 18 in September 2001. Then 9-11 happened. Her naturalization was put on hold. She then missed the next date (her fault). This put her in violation of US immigration law and effected her status.

She has a green card. She has a great attorney. She can't leave the country because she might not get back in (no US passport). She is a -get this-HS Civics teacher and a patriot. She somehow has fallen through the cracks.

All the more reason for immigration reform. Right now, we are incentivizing people to illegally enter the country instead of people to actually follow our laws. Sorry to hear about your cousin, hope she manages to get everything squared away.

Sounds like her excellent lawyer has work to do because she can't make an appointment.

The liberal's paradise of Canada has merit based immigration and actually enforces their immigration laws. She'll probably have a tougher time getting into there

Does she have any dreams?

Does she dream of having a dream?

That will get you to the front of the line....that, plus being worthless and willing to trade a slave-vote for a slave check. Will she do that?

Does she have any germs that would infect and kill white people? That would help, too.

Also ... the rules dictate that you post a photo.

Democrats would tell you that your story means we should have open borders.

I would suggest that our immigration system should have some sort of mechanism to address cases like this.

Can you elaborate on the "missed the next date (her fault)" portion of your story?

Even though she has no paperwork, did her parents come legally?

Especially if there are any required steps, or forms for her to fill out, as doing the documentation to get these... long lost papers she so desperately needs, doesn't seem to be a priority.
