Wow, I really don't even know where to begin. I guess it starts with the caliber of people living in Slidell. Really just the dregs of society, the worst collective group of people I've ever come across in my nearly half century of living. I don't know if they were all born there or just attracted to the area. I really hope someone figures out how to fix Slidell. It's really a nice place if you just got rid of the people.

I think part of it is geography. It the main thoroughfare of drugs into and out of the city.

There is lots of heroin anywhere in the US where people live. The elitists on this board will say its because Slidell is trashy, but truth is those same people have, or their kids have an oxycontin problem that will eventually lead to heroin. America.

I do not know the situation in Slidell, but I think there are a lot of places where there is a lot more heroin than the average person realizes.
But what is the biggest employer in Slidell? Are there a lot of physical labor jobs? Physical labor, a lot of injuries.. People get hooked on pain pills.. But I am sure there are several factors that contribute to it.

All three of my foster children are from Slidell and both of the mothers were on either H or meth.
