Do you prefer sleeping in the same bed with your SO or in another room?

People from the older generation seem to automatically think that something’s wrong if a couple does not sleep in the same room. However, a lot of the young couples I know voluntarily sleep in different rooms just because they’re more comfortable and sleep better like that.
Which do you prefer and why?

Not if she has the jimmy legs.

Other room. I snore too loud.

We sleep in the same bed unless one of us falls asleep on the couch. We only have a queen bed too. There's no use getting a king since my wife sleeps right up under my arse all night anyway.

nothing wrong with the other room, especially if she's sick

Same bed when we bang. Different room when we don’t.

Same bed. I get cold sleeping alone.

My ideal scenario would be two separate beds in the same room. We could fool around in one, and then go to our respective beds for high quality, restorative, cuddle-free sleep.
It will be a hard sell, but I’m up for the challenge.

My wife was gone last night and I slept in the middle of the bed. It was nice.

Same unless one of us (or both) fall asleep reading to the kids.

The only people I've found that don't sleep in the same bed are people with marital problems and really fat people.

Different room. She goes to bed between 9:00-10:00 while I cannot get to sleep before midnight.

Same bed... glued to my SO... it's cold.
He probably wishes for other arrangements

Did you not see that two of us have already mentioned that we do it because of our snoring. I'd rather sleep in another room than take an elbow to the ribs five times per night because I'm waking her up.

My wife falls asleep on the couch a lot. She's one of those people that can just fall asleep sitting up. I always tell her that I tried waking her up but in all truthfulness I just cover her up and go to bed

People sleeping in different rooms is a foreign concept.

Same bed, not touching (when trying to sleep).
