Mel Kiper mocks SMU WR Courtland Sutton to the Saints

I doubt he makes it to #27, but I'd be cool with it if he somehow slipped.

I don't hate it but think we could do better.

I want more of a slot / 3rd down specialist type of WR

Let’s be realistic. Kiper has no idea what Payton and Ireland will do. Not to mention these early mock drafts aren’t able to take into consideration the offseason

Kinda like Lattimore last year. The dude should’ve went in the top 5 easily. Never did i think he’d fall to 11. And sure enough we hit the jackpot. So it’s possible. I don’t expect him to be there tho. I’m thinking we’ll probably land Malik Jefferson out of Texas which i will jump for joy if it happens

Mock drafts in general are pointless and stupid. They’re just to give people something to talk about.

Everything I've seen on Jefferson screams bust. Almost all the analysts think he should have stayed in school
