I say that. They are gay as shite. But if you are the type of man who wears other men’s names on your back it probably seems cool to you. I’m not saying you’re gay, but you’ve probably, well, you know.

Only person worth of 7 going into last year was Guice. No one deserves it going into next year except White

It's definitely a stupid 'tradition'.

The 18 tradition will not die, but we seriously need a stud playmaker to wear #7. Don’t care what anyone says, Chark didn’t do that jersey justice with dropped passes, muffed punts, and lackluster play

Yeah, the least he could have done was have a punt return that turned the season around.

7 IS NOT A TRADITION.

Jesus, people. Does your knowledge of LSU football really go back no further than Patrick Peterson????

7 should be a quarterback number. Bert Jones, Alan Risher... I wish Brennan would wear it.

I don’t really care for it. I’m ok with players passing down numbers it just doesn’t need to be made a big deal.

Why would any fan want it to die?
Players love it, and it's an honor to wear it. I think it's a he'll of a lot better tradition than some freaking chain. You know, if a white guy would have come up with the turnover chain, he wouldn't be coaching anymore.

It's a player thing, it's up to them. I'd love to see more evidence that they have some clear leaders on the team, so I hope they do it again.

i don’t really care one way or the other about the #7 being passed down.

but i do like the #18 tradition. because it actually means something. Even NFL teams take note in it (may be not a lot of stock, but they do notice who wears it)
i think there should only be one guy though.

and keep it like it was with a vote from previous 18 and the team.

and it should be a guy that earns that number off the field just as much as on it.

Yeah that’s my point

Battle isn’t good. He shouldn’t be 18.
