"Although I’m young I’ve had a crash course this week in financial management and I feel so fortunate to have this incredible wealth and team behind me," he said in the release. Have some fun along the way? A crash course in financial management? A 20 year old?

This guy seems more likely than most to end up broke. Someone will make a ton of money off of him though.

Why does it always seem like Florida has the winners of these jackpots?

Welcome to the Blenner Law Group

When you are in pain and suffering, the words “personal injury” are indeed very personal. A serious accident or injury can leave you unable to work, unable to earn, and enjoy the quality of life for an extensive period of time, possibly permanently. A car accident, an industrial explosion, an amusement park mishap, a vicious assault, a chemical burn injury, a hit-and-run collision, or a slip or fall on wet tile floor, a tumble down a flight of stairs brings an economic disaster to you, your family, and your finances.

From his attorney's website. Dude just won $281MM in a lump sum and he's using a personal injury attorney who does estate planning on the side.

Good for him, he has his whole life (probably 3 years in reality) to enjoy the money. Better than some 80 year old person winning it.

Blow that money son!!!

If I win $280MM, I'm finding an estate and tax attorney who deal with $280MM clients. This guy must have asked for referrals around the office at the background check place he worked.

I mean, his statements were perfectly crafted. If he lives by those statements that would be fantastic. Obviously a huge IF, but not sure what you're taking actual exception with in what he said.

We blast lottery winners for blowing this money and now you seem to be blasting him for saying he's already educating himself about financial management just days after winning.
