This is essentially what SHE said...Hers is solid advice to start with but he will need more.
Cool, then no need to hide.

Look up any article they write about what to do if you win the lottery. Most of them will tell you to get rid of social media because you make yourself a massive target.
No, thanks. I'm good.
If I win that much - I'm going to befriend you on every social media platform, then post daily pictures of $100 bills. Lots and lots of $100 bills.

I didn't say he needs to become a hermit for the rest of his life. But days after winning the lottery...yes he needs to stay out of the limelight as much as he possibly can.
It is not to say he can never have fb again...just that getting rid of his accounts now is a smart move while he can receive counsel from trusted sources and figure out a plan for his new life.

That statement came after, not when I had posted....who do you think you are arguing with, Peej?
And I don't even have a cat...just a whore dog. I bet you wear wool driving caps in this weather, don't you?

I'll do just the opposite.
I'll pay Chicken money to make it like I never existed on this board.

Okay, so for "days" he needs to stay out of the public eye, but a month later...he good to start Tweeting?
'Cause I'm gonna guess that those that would target such an individual for nefarious reasons, would be willing to play the long game.
My point, is that it won't matter if he's on social, or not, the wealth alone makes him a target...so fricking embrace it.

This guy is young, so he may not have many skeletons in his closet. I would imagine for some people, that every bad thing they've ever done comes out and people start attempting to shake them down for money.

Good for him. I'm tired of seeing elderly mid westerners win.
