That should be two quality qb's that are available. Both won games in the s.e.c. and better than what we have been playing with.

nope, he can't pass. Basically a JJ type of player but on a better team. Plus, Bama knows his weaknesses as a player and will exploit that for sure, just like Kirby did.

hear he is moving on to Washington.

Easy, Jalen Hurts.

He would start at RB for us.

Hurts can't pass. Except for when he threw for 2,700 yards 63% completion and 23 touchdowns as a true freshman in the SEC.

He was much better suited for Kiffin's offense than Daboll.

When has any undergrad transfer ever been allowed to transfer to a rival school within the SEC? No SEC coach will ever allow that to happen.

No coach will allow their players to transfer within conference short of an Ole Miss type situation.

Would not be surprised to see Hurts at running back next year. If he has a future in the NFL it will be at that position.

He would never be granted a release to LSU

Eason to Washington. The way Kiffin talks up Jalen, I'm thinking FAU.

Then again, thought JT Barrett would leave Ohio State after cordelles performance and staying worked out for him.

One question in this is, and it may be a dumb question, is with the timing of the transfers CAN we take a transfer right now being up against our 25 number? Or would it have to wait until after the start of the academic year?

Do not want Hurts. If Hurts is what we need... give extra time & reps to Narcisse. Eason is a no brainer.

Doubt either would happen. No way either coach allows in-conference or on-schedule transfer.

Why is everyone so enamored with Hurts? Seems like a good kid but he is not an SEC quarterback. He went like 25-2 because the players around him are that much better than those on other teams. I expect him to transfer because he ain't getting his job back, but there's no reason we should be pining for him to come to LSU... unless it's at RB.

And Eason is Washington bound.

Why do people not understand how transfers work? Every fricking time a SEC QB gets benched someone asks if we should get them. Please stop.

That's like going after gold or mud rocks.
One you can't get and the other you don't want.

Besides, both would have to sit a year. Wouldn't we what we already have playing in two year?

What do you mean, "should we go after," them? LSU can't, "go after them". Check NCAA rules on contacting scholarship athletes at other schools. You think Hurts is going to transfer from Bama because of one game? By the end of spring, he will have his starting role back. If Eason is transferring then he has declared to bama he is doing so. There's still a code of conduct the NCAA implements to govern such matters.

Would look like another Jordan Jefferson here. No thanks.
