depends, a high school/college athlete, a 5 year old special needs child, a geriatric grand pa with arthritis and poor bone stock? Just because someone is the team dr does not mean they are the best one for every situation

lots of pain and his knee wants to "lock up" on him.
Sounds like a cartilage and/or meniscus issue.

Chad Loupe replaced both of my ACL's. No complaints, and it doesn't even look like I had surgery.

Thanks for this thread. I am also having knee issues. I saw Dr. Mazoch at Bone and Joint. He's young so if I need surgery I'd be a little concerned. Anybody on here ever seen him for knees?

Might want to ask Delvin Breaux how that has worked out.
As someone also misdiagnosed by Jones (former guy with the Saints) just because someone is a team doctor doesn't mean he's worth anything. That being said, hope the new guy is good.

If the local guys are booked up look into Collins in Lake Charles. He’s one of the best in the state. Protege of Dr. Drez who was one of the best in the country.

Michael Brunet was one of the best in NOLA, but he moved to Alexandria after Katrina. He was the Chief of Sports Medicine at Tulane for over 25 years. Still in practice last I heard.

Bankston, but he was so booked up when I tore mine up that I had Robichaux do mine and have no complaints.
Probably should go with somebody else since Robichaux is recently deceased....
