This is the correct question -
The global estimate of individual doses administered is in excess of 13.7 billion since 2021. The sample size is too large/over-powered.

This is a fairly accurate assessment. The scientific community is well aware of this issue. GLP1/GIP drugs cause you to lose your appetite and become nauseated as a result of delayed gastric emptying. Individuals with a shite diet that do not shift the ratio of lean protein to carbs will suffer most, but high protein also delays gastric emptying which further reduces caloric intake. The use of these drugs with resistance/weight training have fared the best. The loss of lean muscle mass without weight training has been comparable to muscle wasting in cancer patients.

re: Why isn't Texas more known for beaches?
Posted by Elephino on 9/13/21 at 9:11 am to Methuselah
There are some decent beaches on North Padre Island near Corpus Christi. Malaquite beach comes to mind. It is part of the Padre Island National Seashore. It is a paid annual or daily pass, which keeps out some of the riff raff. One of the major issues on that stretch of coast is the current. Always lots of surf that brings in loads of seaweed. It smells terrible as it breaks down. They are limited to how much they can remove and by what means because they cannot risk disturbing turtle nests. Padre Island is one of the more popular breeding grounds for Kemp's Ridley sea turtles.

Which company passed on it due to safety concerns? Genuinely curious because I have not read that far.

Molnupiravir was in development for flu. It is a nucleoside -based drug, of which several already exist as antivirals. This drug is a prodrug with oral bioavailability. It is a cytidine analog. I have not gotten around to reading all of the literature on this particular drug, but if it works like the others in its class, it will have mixed activity. Ultimately, it will get incorporated into the growing/replicating RNA strand and lead to termination. It will also likely serve to competitively inhibit the polymerase.

This. I only applied to the one PhD program I wished to attend, but received multiple offers from other programs after the exam. It worked out ok, I guess. All tuition and fees paid for plus a competitive stipend.

22 years and six states of residence.
We were young and always far from family. Had to learn self-reliance and to depend on one another for everything.
No grandparents around or built-in daycare.
I guess it was a struggle early on, but we didn't know the difference. If it didn't break us, it was bound to make us stronger.

This. Every dose in the state has been spoken for. I got my first dose yesterday. The state isn't even expecting to receive more doses until I'm due for my second. This will undoubtedly cause many people to miss the second dose, either due to unavailability or incredible inconvenience.
Read through all of the thread. Simpsonville will provide an awesome quality of life for a young family. Look at the boundaries for schools. Riverside and Mauldin High are preferable to Hillcrest.

I lived there for 5 years and worked in Kingsville. Not sure where you'll be staying, but there are nicer neighborhoods at the end of S Staples, which is ideal for commuting to Kingsville via Chapman Ranch. Most of those neighborhoods have a high density of non-locals; Navy/Marine pilots also commuting to Kingsville.

Only moved away because of aging parents. Simpsonville is an awesome place to raise a family. The airport has been expanding, and I never had a problem with rates. Not once did it pay for me to drive to Atl or Charlotte. It's at the top of my list for going back as a retirement destination. I miss it every day, and have lived in a variety of locations (8 states).
I use it a lot and it works fine. It runs a little rich. Hard to run things at low or half throttle. Wide open = no problem.
Was the Fall of 1997. Opened in time for the Christmas rush. I worked at Sears the first 3 years it was open. An awesome job for college. Almost everyone except for management was an LSU student. Nothing better than working with 20+ friends from school.

I don't remember getting liberty everyday until I shipped out. We got the day and weekend of graduation. 3 of us were the last from our class to get shipped out. We just sat around and watched movies. I was probably a year before you in 95.
re: Anyone with a family ever totally relocate to another state/region by choice?

Difficult being away from grandparents and relatives when the kids were young. Not having that built in sitter to take my wife out whenever I wanted. Having to rely upon just us. Great for a marriage you can make it work (we have). Only to ultimately move close to home to mow care for aging/ elderly parents. Still worth it.

6 different states in nearly 20 yrs of marriage. An additional 2 states as a batchelor. Awesome to see the rest of the country, but difficult not being near family. No regrets.
