A plan was not in place. No search committee. Miles should have been retained, no less than 6 up and coming coaches vetted. Not limit it to Jimbo and Herman. Orgeron has been a good interim everywhere, not HC material for longevity. We can blame O, how many of us wouldn't fight for a promotion and pay increase? It's upper management that's the issue. They should have seen this coming, they are incompetent, thus, they hire an incompetent successor to Miles.

Nah, it started when Jimbo's initial hiring fell through and Les was kept.

Please focus on today's debacle only, or you might overload the rage circuit board.

Nope. Les was fired a year and some change after he should've been and we had a plan in place in 2015 to move on from miles but our dumbass president went off emotion and kept miles because the players loved him

Then hired O for the same shite

If you think Jimbo is the answer, I disagree. Saban was in his 40's when we hired him, a coach nobody really wanted. There are plenty of young names out there. You telling me Nebraska is a better program? Look who they got.

The No. 1 reason that firing Miles was a mistake, is because it took control of the football program away from a great coach and put it in Alleva's incompetent hands.

The transition plan away from Miles to a new competent coach was poorly designed, poorly executed and way too late in coming.

Miles should have been gone after 2015.

So when do they start dismantling Tiger Stadium? Will the pieces be for sale?

If you plan to keep him the year before, yes, it's knee jerk if you fire him 3 games in the next season.

It’s not knee jerk if the firing came 3 years too late.
