knee jerk? really?
It absolutely was knee jerk. After not firing him in '15, we should have just let him finish '16 while getting a good hire lined up. Instead, we got rid of our historical best coach after 4 games and hired fricking O for a premier job.

False. We hired O on an interim bases and failed to make a plan from there
There was no knee jerk reaction.. It was WAY to late and long overdue

I'm not arguing, he should have been fired in 2015. If you're gonna keep him on that short of a leash in 2016, it was a huge mistake. This program will have to take a total Florida collapse before something is done.

I'm not sure what you think knee jerk means, but it was by no means a knee jerk firing. They had plenty of time to think and plan. Now, it most certainly was a fricked up search, just not a knee jerk.

miles should've been fired after "clock it". then again the next yr vs. Tennessee.
then after 1/9/12
THEN November 0f 15
Jimbo wasnt the answer and wasnt coming here. LSU wasnt about to pay Miles and a 10 year 75 mil contract on top of that. Plus what ever buy outs on assistants.
So, even though they may have had a plan A, it was never a realistic one.

Wrong. After you don't fire him in 15 we needed to see it through the end of 16. The way we got rid of a coach with his resume pretty much guaranteed we'd have trouble landing a big name

You sir, are fricking retarded
It started before that. Before the 2013 season, Alleva gave Miles a huge pay increase and a $15 million buyout. Then in 2014, Chavis leaves because of the Miles clause in his contract. Then in 2015 Alleva tries firing Miles.
Alleva gives Miles a huge pay increase and a huge buyout. And then wants to fire him 2 years later.
Alleva hires a terribly unqualified coach for 5 years, and $12 million buyout because he didn't like the agents for Herman and Fisher.
Alleva is the problem.
