This will prompt a rallying cry from the younger generations (yes, this will prompt more losers to register to vote) and will inevitably be reinstituted under the next Dem administration. It's objectively a stupid hill to die on.

I can't tell if you're trolling, an unapologetic hypocrite, or just stupid. Political candidate apologists are often entertaining to me, but I can't believe that someone with half a brain would believe the bullshite you're spewing on here.
This is awful for consumers and the American public. Anybody that argues otherwise has zero clue what they're talking about and would follow Trump off a cliff because just because he's a Republican and #MAGA. Same thing with the liberal supporters of the Affordable Care Act. It must be nice to live in such ignorance.
The federal government betrayed each and every one of us today in favor of corporate greed. 20 years from now, when you're complaining about internet the same way as so many are currently complaining about the inability to afford drugs and healthcare because of the society big pharma and big insurance have created, remember this.

Have you read all of the pertinent documentation relating to Net Neutrality? Not opinion papers, not legal arguments, but the actual documents relating to what NN IS and ISN'T. If you haven't, then you are simply making an argument based on opinions, hearsay, etc. which have zero value.

Water under the bridge.
I mean, I guess we can do another 50 page thread on the number of dead bodies that will like in the streets now that this has happened.............but, it's done.

Maybe this will force people to go outside and get some exercise. Or read some books.

These companies, legislation or not, will do what they want.

Yes. I am very well-versed in the subject. I just don't ever post on this particular forum because I'd rather pull off my fingernails one by one than argue with political apologists.
Nothing like debating with supposed "conservatives" who believe government sponsored monopolies equate to free-market.

it's this kind of well-thought out, reasoned response that makes you seem intelligent.
I mean really, being able to run cat5 through someones wall, term it, and put on a plate is really the height of intelligence.

Uhuh! Do back up your assertions with actual citations from the appropriate documents. If, indeed, you are so well versed. Call it an educational opportunity!

Probably not for some time.
The only silver lining is that potentially many ISP’s will see the writing on the wall with how unpopular this is(84% of Americans support NN and 3 in 4 Republican voters) and the tea leaves from congressional elections and hold off on going right back to the frickery they were increasingly engaging in before NN, thinking a future Democratic Congress will pass legislation and dare Trump to veto it.
But ISP’s and cable companies don’t spend millions annually lobbying for this and work tirelessly for this golden egg because they aren’t planning on eventually exploiting it. Which is the logical flaw I never see the shills give an answer for? No business worth their salt, that wouldn’t be eaten alive by shareholders, would get away with throwing millions at lobbying efforts to turn around and not eventually exploit what they purchased.
