Mine was around 5-600 a month I believe. It was an old one level motel converted into apartments. Two what used to be hotel rooms square footage, so not too bad there. Was a corn field out back and a gravel lot in front just off the highway outside of a small town of a thousand or so people in state of Iowa...it was sort of a shite hole with some blue carpet I think. Neighbors were all nice though and it was peaceful.

Lake Towers 2009 downtown. 3 BR for $635.
There was this fine arse blonde girl that lived next to us though that used to get absolutely fricked silly by her BF like every other night. You could hear her from my room.
She drove a yellow XTerra.

East Campus Apartments at LSU. It was the first year they were open. They were pretty cool. Stromile Swift lived a couple doors down.

My GI bill paid for mine, so with a part of my savings added on, it was immaculate. 3 bedrooms and only me. Guys frick up by not going into the military first. Done right, you're in shape/have money/don't have to work/don't have to pay for school. Girls love
This is true. But you’re also old as shite while everyone in your peer group is out of school.

Roaches and broken into before I officially moved in. It was a shithole

Lived at campus crossing on brightside. Summer of my first year, half the LSU team was at our pool. Patrick Peterson and some other DB got on top of the little waterfall to play king of the hill for #7.
ETA: Also, my roommate would always buy the stankiest weed and make everyone smell it. And he wondered why the hot girls that lived beside us never liked him.

Pretty crappy although it wasn't too far from campus. My roommate was a decent guy from Ecuador but the nazi skinheads who lived next to us did not appreciate his presence.
They were full-on white supremacist skinheads too. Had a little charcoal grill with a swastika on the outside and their walls were covered with Nazi propaganda posters from the 1930's. I'm white so we got along okay but my roommate was definitely not welcome.
Eventually the cops raided their place for drugs, apparently they were selling.

Brand New apt. $288 a month. My car payment was more than my apartment.

I lived there when it was Plantation Trace (Trash). Rent was $550 a month, and I loved it despite its shittiness. I remember our kitchen had a gangsta lean.
Has so did ours.

I wish I did. That arse was way too fine for Lake Towers. Pour one out for big titted blonde at Lake Towers.

Not bad at all. One of those old mansions that got chopped up into apartments.

Ahh yes, I have fond memories of Thursdays in my 20s.

Not as bad as when I left it
I had a buddy who worked for the cable company, every time they cut mine off he would come climb the pole and hook it back up.

Nicer than my current apartment, actually.
Never lived in an apartment until I moved out of LA. It was a nice updated 1-br in the middle of downtown. But I got sick of paying $3k+ on rent so I found a slightly more reasonable place.
