Holy fricking shite! Today I learned there is a huge work ethic gap between someone in their early 20’s just figuring out their life to someone in their 30’s who should be in the cruise control portion of their life. Amazing I tell ya

It's the curse of Affluence. It leads to entitlement and the belief that life is easier than it actually is and it saps ambition and personal virtue. Humans blossom when there is genuine struggle.

And yet millennials bore the brunt of the recession and are far less affluent then the previous two generations. So which generation are you talking about here?

I always love a good millennial bashing thread made by someone who doesn’t realize they’re a millennial.

A generational gap? you're part of the same generation, bud. I'm 27 and my helper is 21. Guess which one goes out to drink every night and tries not do shite at work?

You're just at a different point in your life than she is.

I have 7 employees that fall into the true millennial definition as used by demographers. They are all very independent, get their jobs done, work with little direction and solve their own problems. One of them is especially gifted, and he has even solved problems that I didn't know we had which increased the bottom line. They also seem to better adjust to the frequent changing dynamics of our industry.

Gotta love when these stupid fricks don’t realize they’re actually a millennial when they’re generalizing an entire generation based on the one girl he works with at Burger King.

No clue. I'm might but even be a millennial. I'm kinda in the cusp. Though I do find it hilarious when older people bitch about the generation they raised.

This is in line with most of my coworkers and we’re all millennials.

But it doesn’t fit the narrative.
