He is being protested for attending the opening of a Civil Rights Museum.

quote:

Mississippi native Joyce Ladner, who was mentored by NAACP leader Medgar Evers before he was assassinated in 1963, said she will no longer attend because Trump opposes what activists fought and died for in the civil rights movement.
Like what, exactly?
quote:

He cited the dismantling of the Affordable Care Act
hasn't happened, and isn't a civil right
quote:

“a full-blown attack on voting rights by limiting access to the right to vote are not reflective of core civil rights principles.”
This is literally not happening.

Voter ID laws limit zero legal residents from voting.

He once kicked a black guy out of a rally. And tried to prevent blacks from moving in to his property way back in the 80s I think it was.

That's it. Seriously.

He had done nothing against the movement and was liked and took photos with many involved; until he ran for President as a Republican.

He’s a republican. Didn’t you know republicans were ardent supporters of slavery, the kkk, Jim Crow laws, and overall oppression. Republicans don’t believe in judging a man by the content of his character but rather the color of his skin. Wait...

Other than prog filth being totally out of touch with reality, I never understood the “Trump is a racisit” angle. It would be nice if someone could provide specific examples. Pleas also include all of the minoroties that he has provided jobs for as well.

We are waiting. Thanks!

Absolutely NOTHING! And the fact that the majority of the black community cannot see this speaks volumes about their level of intelligence.....as if any more volumes need to be spoken about the lack of intelligence in the majority of the black community.

When Dems can't beat you with logic or facts they call you racist, sexiest, or homophobic.

Most of the Dem voters are too stupid to do research and believe whatever talking points the DNC and MSM tell them to believe.

Yeah I wonder how a guy that was sued by the Civil Rights division of the DOJ for housing discrimination could be perceived as hostile towards black civil rights. Mind boggling, really.

This^ is such a false and misleading term.

The blacks in MS may have a few things in common with other parts of the Nation. Those parts would probably be common Period though, not just to other people of color but all people.

The needs of the people of color in MS are vastly different than the needs in Chicago, L.A., NYC, AK and HI too.

But whatever, it's a Political Expression, so of course it's pure BS.

1973 and it was settled out of court like most of the similar cases were. They rarely went to trial.

Can a man change in 40+ years? Sure, but I didn't see that in Trump. I don't think he's racist, but I also don't think he's a champion for black civil rights. JMO
