re: What’s the worst way someone you knew died?

My best friend of many years, El Josey Wales, died four years ago today from terminal cancer. Seeing what it did to him was brutal in the month and a half he had from his diagnosis.

My friend Tod Waggner accidentally hung himself in the shower. They ruled it a suicide, but I wasn't so sure.

My other friend had a girlfriend, Terry Chaney, that was hit by a bus in broad daylight. Just blood everywhere.

One of my teachers at Mt. Abraham had a desktop computer explode, wounding her. Then her kitchen caught on fire and in the ensuing panic, she reached for a towel draped over a block of knives. The knife block fell, and a large chefs knife plunged into her chest cavity. A chair then fell onto the knife, sending it deeper into her torso. The entire house subsequently exploded.

My friend Billy, a class clown type, was decapitated by shrapnel from a car accident that had just occurred on some train tracks just outside of town.

Despite all this, me and two other friends went to Paris to remember our fallen friends. Well, wouldn't you know it, a giant neon restaurant sign fell off a building, and pulverized my friend Carter.

Murdered. Shot several times with no where to run.

Cousin killed by lightning on a golf course.

My ex’s cousin got crushed by a giant combine while he was working on it.

A friend of mine was riding his motorcycle on Airline highway in LaPlace. A car pulled out in front of him while he was riding in excess of the posted speed limit. He clipped the rear of the vehicle and was thrown off of his motorcycle into the path of an 18 wheeler coming the opposite direction.

He had a closed casket funeral.

No seat belt, thrown from truck, truck landed on him. Driver blew a .312 and had 3 prior DUI plus suspended license.

Guy was a loser who molested his stepdaughter. No loss.

MY great grandfather on my dads side had hemmroids that got infected. Supposedly they were the size of oranges.
