I give a damn about the Hire cause they’re a conference opponent. They got a coach we courted and couldn’t land. He’s a pretty good coach too.
Worse yet, aTm went after what they wanted and got it.
What did we do?
fricked up Les’ dismissal. Didn’t get Jimbo and had to keep Les.
Fired Les to much criticism. Mismanaged a coaching search, Courted another guy we couldn’t land. Then settled for arguably the least qualified candidate possible.
I hope both hires work out. But the Aggies executed much better than LSU

In no way is it possible to shape this story in any way that's good for LSU. Your closest natural rival is soon to be your biggest real rival thanks to a far better administration, more money, and better facilities in the richer recruiting ground in the country. Things got real this year. Easy wins are again going to be a thing of the past very soon.

How am I being dramatic? One of our annual opponents hiring a new coach is relevant to discuss. I'm not saying ATM is about to be a juggernaut or something but it's definitely an upgrade for them and you can't deny he's a hell of a recruiter

I agree... This is A bad day for LSU.... BUT it will take A couple years for Jimbo to get that program where he wants it...
We will let O go for it for two more years and then tell Saban we will give him $100 million for 3 years just to win 3 NC titles.........
