Fisher averaged 10 wins a season in his eight years at Florida State and won a national championship. He also knows how to recruit, and to develop QB's. I'm glad you can be so sanguine about the hire, but I think it could be bad news for LSU, at least on the recruiting front in/around Houston. Hell, just last year, Jimbo stole Marvin Wilson from us, and got Cam Akers too.

I’m not the one getting all emotional about it. And the question was about schedule strength, the 05 schedule was weaker than this years that’s just a fact. You people are knocking this years wins because of schedule strength and that’s the first time that’s ever happened even though we’ve played weaker schedules in the recent past. It just shows the double standard you guys always use.

Even assuming the 2005 schedule was easier which is highly debatable... we're just ignoring the whole Katrina thing and the moving our first home game to Arizona thing and the playing the whole season without a bye thing and the fact that we finished 11-1 won and won the west and beat the dog shite out of a top 10 Miami team as well as road victories against top 10 Bama and top 15 UF?

Of course here comes the wall of excuses for Miles as usual all while ignoring that Mikes had the most talented roster in program history including 4 top 10 draft picks. Also ignoring the fact that we returned 7 starters this year and lost 2 years worth of players when you factor in dismissals and transfers. We also had 9-11 starters out for any given period of time the first quarter of the season and lost only one game once healthy. We can play the spin game all you want and deflect or go off topic all day. The comment was we haven’t had a schedule this weak in many years and that comment is false, you can’t hanlde that your narrative isn’t true so you’ve gone off the rails changed the subject and made a mess as usual.

They were NOT draft picks at the time of the 2005 season... They turned into those picks but NOT right after the 2005 season...
