Please list just the SEC teams you think he wouldn't start for. I'd say maybe Missouri.

Arkansas and Kentucky would be competitive

Plug in guys like Bentley or Fitzgerald at Bama and they're probably unstoppable

Fitz is as even a worst passer than he is

Fitzgerald is a worse passer. Hurts and Joshson would kill people in Gus' system and they wouldn't have even looked at Stidham. Fromm is the same kind of conservative thrower that Hurts is. Bentley hasn't really progressed that much this year even though the team is better.

Allen can't even put away big drunken Lurch.

Stidham is an NFL prospect and better than Hurts. Talking about hypotheticals regarding whether or not he'd have been recruited there if Auburn had Hurts is silliness

Fitzgerald is forced to take way more risks in his offense with inferior weapons. He's a more dynamic runner than Hurts and would put up similar passing efficiency in Bama's offense

Fromm has been as good a passer this year as Hurts as a true freshman. He also beat out Eason. Yeah he's not asked to do too much either but I think he'd beat out Hurts

Bentley hasn't gotten much better but Muschamp is proven horseshite at developing QBs and I'd still want Bentley on my team as a prospect over Hurts

Yeah Arkansas is a stretch but Hurts wouldn't fit in with their offense at all. Shame Allen regressed this year

Delusional. LSU would rival Bama’s record the past 6 years if we had a qb like Hurts the whole time. Seriously, LSU has been just a quarterback away. Hurts > Etling, Harris, Jefferson, Jennings...

I don’t think many people realize just how awful Hurts is.

Im hoping Tua gets a lot of snaps in the Orange Bowl or whatever non playoff game we get. I mean, why not see what he can do against quality competition?

Saban will NOT do this. Never has.

I wish it would happen, though.

Alabama fans quickly turn LSUlike after one loss. What are you guys going to do when Nick retires and normality returns?

Hurts is smart and doesn't turn the ball over

Saban is turning into Les Miles.

He's got this guy who, frankly wouldn't start at most schools

He's an average QB, who's been able to hide behind bamas line and running game, and defense. There will be a QB battle in spring, 100% no doubt.

If Hurts didn’t have the OL personnel he has, would his numbers look the same?
his o-line is a horrible pass blocking o-line, thus all the scrambling.

25-2 as a starter (both losses away from home against top 10 teams). 38td passing vs 10 interceptions in his career. Over 1,600 yards rushing with 21tds with over a 5.0 avg.

I hate Bama, but that kid is solid and almost every team in College football would be lucky to have him. I've watched dozens of 5* QBs fall on their faces or transfer when they didn't get they wanted (Stidham is one of them)..

Do you really let Tua transfer because you refuse to sit the dude who can't fricking REALLY play Quarterback?

As an LSU fan you should be glad he does, it gives a glimmer of hope in possibly beating Bama.

Hurts is terrible. He wants to scramble for a first down every third or fourth down b/c he can’t pass. He should be a QB at a lower tier power five team such as Vanderbilt, Kentucky, North Carolina State. He has no business starting at an elite SEC school.

The guy has dominated the sec the last two years for the most part. He does have trouble passing against elite defenses, which is what everyone is getting down on him for, which is understandable.
