I clean mine often. After every fishing trip and before every big tournament. I hate when my family members, FIL, get it dirty.

What about yall?

It's a boat. Not a vagina.

I suggest that you lighten up a bit. I appreciate taking care of things as much as anyone, but it sounds like he was trying to do you a favor.

Also, if you spent enough on a boat that you are worried about it getting dirty, you probably spent too much.

I’m calm when they get it dirty but I still can’t wait to clean it when I get home.

I'm not calling you a liar, but i have a hard time believing that him sweeping out a garage with a broom got your boat that dirty.

might just be me...

If you kept your garage clean, this wouldn’t be an issue.

Leaf the leave blower, and hide the push broom.

Just keep cleaning it. It's not like you're going to get an old man to change his ways.

Hell, he might keep doing it just to mess with you.

Maybe you should just keep your garage cleaner.

Sounds like you're wound up a little tight, but I see it both ways. The old man is "doing you a favor", and doing you another favor by feeding the dogs, but you didn't ask him to clean. Starts pushing that boundary coming into your home and doing stuff without being asked.

This is why I hate pulling a boat down a dirt road. Way to much dust.

Why is your garage consistently so dirty?

I thought I was the most meticulous person with regard to their boat. But you've got me beat. By a long shot. It's just dust. It'll wash off. Scratches and knicks, well that's another story.

I've been maintaining this mirror finish for 10 years now. But it's got some dings from use. Don't be afraid of a little dust. Look at the dust as an excuse to take it out and get some slime and scales on it then wash.

And face your FIL instead of coming to an internet forum to bitch.

Oh and, pretty sure he's fricking with you because you're anal about the boat. And he knows it. And probably secretly doesn't like you since he keeps doing it.
