Sturgill Simpson mocks CMA Awards

Seems like Drive by Truckers, Jason Isbell, and James McMurtry have a lot of fans of their music that dont agree with their political leanings, and then said fans melt down when they figure it out.
In the case of them and Sturgill i dont how you couldnt know their political leanings as it is overtly obvious in all their lyrics. You must be an idiot.

Drive By Truckers are okay, the other two are pussies that I don't really listen to and while he has some anti-war songs I haven't heard anything that's overly liberal-leaning, definitely not on antfa level.

I like Sturgill’s music,but he is a confused pussy. He rails against “Nashville” every chance he gets, and then is pissed when he’s not invited to their party.
I knew girls in high school like this....they hated those that were popular and then acted bitchy when they weren’t invited to hang with them.

They make music. Who gives a shite if in their free time they support the left or the right. I'm sick of punishing myself by giving up good products because I don't agree with the person/group on a topic completely unrelated to what I enjoy about them. If I like a song/show/movie I'm gonna listen/watch. Dammit life is too short to endlessly boycott everything over minor differences.
