What is your deer rifle set up?

Usually a Rem. 270 pump. With a Simmons scope. Last weekend, killed one with the wife’s Savage .308 with Simmons scope.

A remington 30.06 with a scope
Is it bad I am not exactly sure of the model of the rifle or the scope? I hunt alot but have never really been a gun junky. Got a rifle for deer, and a shotgun for birds

Ruger M77 mkII in 270 win. Stock has been changed to a Boyd's custom thumbhole. Barrel changed to a McGowan custom with a leupold vari x 3 3.5x10x50. Butler creek covers and a browning sling.
Bought it and used it stock from when I was 11 til up to season before last (20 yrs) when it took a tumble out of a ranger and got run over. Broke the stock, the scope, and bent the barrel. Gun had sentimental value to me as it was the first I had bought on my own so I rebuilt it....and upgraded all the parts that had to be changed.

Tikka .300wsm with a Nikon Monarch has served me well. Just bought a .308 CZ 550fs though. Gonna top it with a Leica ER5 I think. That will most likely replace my Tikka as a primary deer gun.

Box rifle is Remington 5r milspec stainless in 308 with Swarovski z6 2x12 and climbing rifle is Tikka t3 stainless in 7mm-08 with meopta 3.5x10
