It is goign to be tough for mccain to lose this battle. First off, he has a lot less to lose. And 2nd off, he is going to die. he cares about his legacy.

And trump needs him for tax reform. The margin for passage is narrow. And mccain won't have to bear the koch brother consequences if he votes no, since he is basically a dead man walking.

McCain was a decent guy, but completely wrong in the direction he wanted to go in the ME. Romney, not sure how nice. But his tax plan was horrible and Paul Ryan as his VP would have killed Medicare and Medicaid.

This may be the most disingenuous comment McCain has ever stated and that's saying something. McCain, the neoconservatives and the neoliberal interventionists have abandoned the foreign policy of non-intervention that our founders recommended. They have placed the profits of defense and military contractors above the lives of their own countrymen. There is never enough blood to quench their thirst. They have fomented war, death and destruction around the globe under the guise of spreading democracy. They have spent us into bankruptcy. They have argued for more surveillance, more record keeping and less freedom because the enemy is everywhere. They have turned a free society into a militaristic, police state. John McCain can rot in hell.
