This is called deflection. We are so mad about a joke, we should ignore the knee problems now.

Any comedian could have said this and everyone would laugh. Al probably needs to stay in his lane though.

I can remember a time not so very long ago when a crack like this would've gone completely unnoticed.

People need to lighten the frick up.

If it was your daughter, sister, or mother, then you wouldn't find it funny or think that it's "just a joke." This is what hypocrisy looks like.

Actually, hypocrisy is some of these women involved preaching to us about the GOP's supposed war on women while all the while keeping their mouths shut as long as good ol' Harvey kept doling out parts in his movies.

I don't think it was funny, but he shouldn't be crucified over it.

Actually i'd say that probably makes you the hypocrite.

If what you said is the case, then we can't really joke about anything at all because there will always be someone who can be offended by that joke.

Well yea, because today's world is a world where we overreact to....EVERYTHING

I don’t even get who he was offensive to. Are we supposed to take offense on behalf of Harvey Weinstein?

He shouldn't be villified for it, but It's probably too soon for 2017 America.

The Giants having a bad week is a sensative topic? Or comparing, hyperbolically, the Giants bad week to a fallen Hollywood exec is sensative? I don't understand why? Have similar jokes not been routinely made about Bill Cosby's career?

Had he said the Broncos defense is likely to treat Eli Manning like Harvey treated the leading actress in his latest movie, that would be a joke about rape/sexual assault that could be offensive.

James Corden is catching shite for jokes he made during some function he emceed.

I was just reading on the poli board and others how "nobody will talk Weinstein, but FOX and Ailes of oreilly got crucified". Well now some have and got slapped down. Too soon or too hurtful. It's ridiculous.

This.

The reality is that everyone is supposed to be offended by something 24/7 these days. I feel so left out.
