I'd like to see the words "for the national anthem" behind that sentence just to clarify things.

They're basically doing NOW, what everyone in the NFL SHOULD have done as soon as Colin K started his stupidity.

Fans of any entertainment are remarkably flexible. If you want to shite on conservatives 24/7 on social media, they'll typically STILL watch you perform.

About the ONLY think fans will actually react to is if you shite on THEM to their FACES.

Hence, an actress can be loony left. We'll watch her. But, we typically have no patience for watching her in a loony left movie.

The NFL, if it had sense, would have encouraged its players to EXPAND on what Colin did but not in front of fans.

Play both sides.

frickers should have hired me. I could have made a lot of money......made the players happy..........AND saved this grief.

So they'll stand together as a team to show support for a cause even when as individuals they are wrong about that cause.

No, basically they were too scared of the social media backlash of a small minority of people who don't watch football anyway so they let the players do what they wanted. Now that they see their base is pissed, they're in damage control. It's too late and many fans have already made their decisions.

Our locker room is one diverse place, and that’s what makes it so special. It’s where thoughtful, intelligent leaders from all different races, religions and backgrounds come together
So is America you condescending prick. You come together because you all are working for a common goal.

How would you come together if you had a 'teammate; that fricked up the locker room, skipped workouts, and refused to do his part? Would you protest his being dismissed because he didnt do as asked?

The NFL is the most exclusive, judgmental place in the world and you are going to tell me we all have work to do?

I would say that Trump, in a way, got a win.

A large chunk of this country finally had enough of the identity politics that painted America as this evil entity. Trump is essentially the embodiment of the rejection of the hyperbolic nonsense.

'...thoughtful, intelligent leaders....' It's the lack of intelligence that's the problem.

The kneeling players brought awareness to their issue a long time ago. Further kneeling seemed pointless. Good on Marshall to actually do something to help his city.

In a way?

By the way this one is too easy. The worst person at PR and ad marketing vs a guy who got elected because he's so good at it

What's the old saying?
"Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it"

It seems the Broncos learned.
