Their magnolia stuff is killing it I imagine

they might have sold a million of those Texas Forever shirts (all proceeds to Harvey relief, though)

Running its course? The show is less than 5 years old. How can you say it already ran its course?

Seriously. She has the most non-diverse design approach of any home improvement person I've ever seen.

Every show..let me guess...ship lap and a white kitchen.

I know you're not responding to me, but what's the shelf life for a show of this type these days?

Same people, heavy repetition, same area

I guess you're right. Seems like 5 years old of a show would be entering its peak.

In the end, I think this was a personality driven show, like Duck Dynasty but on a more limited level (fewer people). People thought it was wholesome, were amused by the people featured, etc. but it had a very routine pattern.

Honestly, while it wouldn't be as popular, a This Old House type of show (more actual DIY element) with Chip/Joana style personalities could potentially last longer, IMO (from a substantive perspective, not a ratings one). When the format is

Here's the design
Joanna goes shopping
Chip does something dumb
Here are the contractors putting Joanna's plan into action (30 seconds of work shown)
Here is Chip doing one of the projects himself for 60 seconds
Why we love Waco
Big reveal

I just don't think it could go on indefinitely. They're probably smart to move on to other things before it drags.

I'm pretty sure every fixer upper show follows the same formula episode after episode.

because I've watched a lot of episodes and it tends to be the same thing decoration/design-wise. Its the same for most of these shows- and there are lots of them. I think the genre has run its course TBH. I mean you can only have so many people flipping or flopping, renovating, and rehabbing homes, kitchens, bathrooms, etc.

She’s done plenty of non-white kitchens. And has done houses without any shiplap.

It’s also Waco, TX. Keep with the theme of the area.

Passed the Silo's Saturday morning about 11, line for the bakery was a good 200 feet long and about the same to get in the showroom. The church on the corner is making bank selling parking spots for $10.

They are finishing up on the renovation of the old Elite Cafe' on the Circle of Death by Rudy's. Reopening in the next few months. Another cash cow for them. Make it while you can.

They are making a fortune with their store. I am sure they could already retire many times over
