Btw I don’t care if a coach is an ahole. Seems like most of the great ones are..

How is Mullen an ahole though?

Good up coming it establishes coaches get a grace period but with O’s resume and where LSU is.. it becomes depressing. He doesn’t appear to be a guy who can rebuild and it looks shaky if he can even maintain.. it this was truly some x and o’s Coach then at least we could look to the future.

Why LSU didn't throw a blank check at Mullen last year astounds me.

Matt Canada replaced Ensminger as OC. (SE back to TE's)

Shadow Staffer Greg McMahon replaced BDP on ST's.

Tommie Robinson replaced Jabbar "In over his Head" Juluke as RB Coach.

Mickey Joseph replaced Dameyune Craig as WR Coach.

Dennis Johnson replaced BDP coaching OLB's. (Even though BDP wasn't technically a LB Coach).............

He will be here his full contract length. Unless our ad is dumb and gives him and extension. We cant be on the hook for 2 former coaches.

So in 3 years who knows who the next hot up and coming coach will be. Fuente isnt leaving va tech for us either.

Matt Canada

You know alleva will just promote someone already on staff he is not competent enough to go out of the comfort zone to hire a proven football coach

Probably nearly anybody decent whose name is not incessantly dropped in "what-if" threads like this.

Yeah, Fleck is killing it a Minnesota against that brutal schedule. O would also be 3-0 against that schedule, no?

Ellshoe, you're better than this.

I haven't heard much in this thread on how we missed out on the mighty Tom Herman...Along with losing to teams like Maryland, maybe Herman can also get a few more "moral victories" like he did against USC.

Arranda lol

There's always that chance O may not work out, life huh? As for Aranda, maybe he just needs to concentrate on making this D play better against real competition before we anoint him the next Charlie Strong...Oh that's right I forgot, Strong failed when he got on the big stage.
