I think I'd have to say Mullen at this point, though there are other good names out there.

Mullen has a somewhat comparable resume at MSU to what Saban had at Michigan State, two programs I see as relatively similar over the time span each man has been their coach.

Mullen at MSU: 64-42
Saban at MS: 34-24

I'm not claiming Mullen is the next Saban, but all indications are he can succeed at a top level program.

If Sumlin is canned and A&M is loaded with $$$, I can see this happening.

How often does a head coach leave one team, by choice, and take another head coaching job in the same conference? Just doesn't make sense to me.

he also has a massive buyout. 6 years 5-6 at 100%. Just signed it last year.

Gundy could very well end up at Ole Miss.

Laugh all you want now. But book mark this and holla back at me after the end of the season.

Mullen would not turn down LSU or Florida.

Would not be my top choice but would be better than the current situation.

Mullen has a good situation in Starville, and wouldn't jump ship for any job. Realistically, and we know he has shown interest in LSU, also Florida and Bama. Those would be the 3 jobs he would take. And Bama maybe not so much considering their boosters.

I doubt Gundy leaves now

We missed out

I’d take Mullen I guess

Even if they lose this week

I would take Fleck over O

I would seriously take Kliff over O

Never thought I’d say I’d take Kliff

LSU can field great defenses really want an Offensive minded HC

He’s down the list tho
