It really pisses me off when they are out of normal straws and you need to put that big arse long straw in a normal sized drink. If I'm not paying attention I'll jam that fricker straight up my nose while I'm driving.

If it is a styrofoam cup, just keep pushing the straw down until it is the height that you want.

maybe you should stop being a woman and carry a pocket knife. Cut the straw to the height you like and go on with your merry day.

It's better than a short straw with a tall drink. One misstep and you're fishing that thing out of there, and when you're almost finished the straw won't reach the drink.
