Down vote all you want but that sounds like total BS. I don't get it.

ETA: Maybe he had a little depression or something, total speculation of course.....but I don't buy the whole spotlight thing.

would you still say this if the dad only spoke in half truths?

Well I can read between the lines and I think its pretty obvious there was something going on. Just think his dad addressed it in a very awesome way. Telling everyone there was an issue and they as a family have stood behind him and he is working through it.

If you go back through my posts, you can see that I had written him off this year. Well its good to be wrong sometimes and its great to see people survive difficult times.

Based on nothing but this board's innate desire to be constantly cynical.

The problem with that mentality is that if he wants to play professional football it will actually be someone's business and has a good chance of coming out. Not sure if his dad did him any favors here.

It will come out possibly during interviews with teams, but that doesn't mean it will come out publicly. It more than likely still wouldn't. You wouldn't hear anything more than "off the field concerns"

No shite it's LSU's business lol.. he's not saying LSU shouldn't know what's going on.. just that anyone who isn't lsu or have last name Key/relative, it's really none of their business..

And here my little brain thought he injured his shoulder, got hooked on the pain mess he was prescribed, needed surgery but had to get off them first so he went to rehab and then had the surgery. Now he is healthy and ready to wreck.

We don't need the whole story. I have no desire.

I just find it strange and intriguing that this is the first time the rant as a whole as basically dismissed something like this as if it never happened.

It's pretty obvious they need some privacy. I don't need to know every detail

I honestly didn't think we would ever see him in a LSU uniform again.

My guess - All those suspended guys have known for some time that they will be sitting out dur to violating O's rules. Key was on the suspended list and decided to protest by sitting out but finally realized he was losing his shot at the big money so he came back to the team. O is not allowing the same bs the previous coach chose to ignore.

Dude, it's called a "safety break." It's for your safety and the safety of those around you. I took a safety break tonight with a tall frosty beer. Keeps everyone safe. Key took one too. Good for him.
