As of now lsu will try to charge 300 per spot in hayfield lot for auburn game. Whoever is overseeing these kinds of decisions needs to be fired or maybe work one day in the real world of the blue collared fans that support this university. It's getting absolutely rediculous.
Yep. First year I can say they actually priced me out. I couldn't believe the single game RV pass prices this year. The prices too park a car in the vet med lot are ridiculous too.

Luckily my dad is too old to attend games, he would start a riot if no Tiger dogs.

Combine all this with one of the crappiest home schedules we've had in a while I think besides Auburn expect to see low numbers if they don't make changes soon

Well I'm officially pissed off. Wtf LSU? We have to pay for the hayfield lot now? It's the worst parking possible and leaving is usually a nightmare. Who makes these decisions?
Posted on 9/10/17 at 8:34 am to roguetiger15
Wait, they're gonna charge 300 to park in the fricken Hayfield lot? Times really have changed.
Posted on 9/10/17 at 8:34 am to roguetiger15
The RV lot across from the Vet school was $300 for the Bama game last year and $150 for Ole Miss. It was first come and not reserved. So what changed other than it was moved farther away and you can come in on Thursday?

Overregulation of tailgating by LSU is an abomination.
Fat Bastard's dumb arse will be here soon to say this is a good thing. And probably bitch about Miles somehow.

Not to mention the guy in front of me got a water at halftime and the woman working unscrewed his water cap and took the cap. The guy was like wtf? I shite you not her response was " I have to keep it bc people were throwing these on the field"
That's been a thing in NFL stadiums for years. In surprised LSU just now started doing it. Not a big deal.
Now I will say I was pissed when the west uppers didnt have a hamburger as a concession option.

I'm confused, are we talking about the hayfield lot or what's formally the Levee lot that's now turned into 413?
I was the first car in the hayfield lot before daylight yesterday and the security guard just asked if I was parking or tailgating. I was tailgating so she pointed on where to go setup. The hayfield lot was full by 2pm.

My concession stand ran out of Coke in 2nd quarter.
Wtf?
Wtf?

SEZ:
- Bathrooms got a coat of paint. Soap and paper towels out by 3rd quarter.
- Concessions have less choices at higher prices. The only cold water left in the 2nd quarter in the SEZ Upper concourse was-of course-the highest priced water at $6.50 for a liter. They also took a man's money directly in front of me who ordered popcorn. After asking for popcorn from the folks in the prep area, they were told-during the 2nd quarter-that they had run out of popcorn.
Now let's set aside the incredible stupidity of somehow running out of an item like popcorn that early. Let's talk about what happened to the poor man and his money...and everyone else behind him in line.
The lady taking cash just stared back at the kitchen folks who informed her of the sellout. Just sat there and stared. Line comes to a complete halt. No more sales of any type while they just stare. Cashier slowly turns and informs the guy what everyone's nearby already knows. He politely then asks for his money back.
She turns around-again-then turns to the till/cash drawer and says I can't give you a refund. She points to some broad at the other end of the concession stand and says she has to give it to you. Guy says my money is in that register and I just gave it to you. If you don't have popcorn I want it back. She again tells him she can't do it.
I realize now that this operation was set up by folks at Aramark and being run by local folks who obviously work at concession stands part time or as a hobby, as they obviously work full time for DARPA, CalTech or MIT splitting atoms and developing a method of Cold Fusion.
I rudely and yet gently interrupt this problem for the ages of refunding a non existent popcorn purchase to ask if they can give me a bottle of water-any water-that's cold. Obviously I get the, "The smart water is the only water that's cold." Also-as mentioned-the most expensive water available at $6.50/liter.
Parking-Between that and seeing ACRES of unfilled paid parking and the hastily built, megashitty new lot they constructed past the tennis facility and the ultra-marathon-length trek LSU require some people who don't want to pay to park to make in order to get to Tiger Stadium and this excellent fan experience they've spent millions on, it's apparent they want you to pay for the privilege of this event in every manner possible.
There is no aspect of the game day experience LSU is unwilling to monetize. There is no level of whorish, pimp-like thinking this Administration and Athletic Department think or feel above stooping to in order to extract money out of their customer in exchange for.
I am reaching my limit after yesterday.

With attendance falling across the country, this is so dumb. It's much easier to keep people coming than later try and get everyone back. The beer garden, parking, etc should be top priority if u want more than 60k for a Chattanooga game in 5 years following the trends.

Also ESPN's problems will start to become the conferences problem and then the schools' problem soon. They aren't getting a return on all these huge licensing deals anymore across sports.

I guess that's technically the levee lot but it's always been free until this year. It's the grass lot closest to the softball field. That's about the best description I can give. Right next to limestone rv lot

I'm just really deflated because my excitement for this team and coaching staff is through the roof yet the university just absolutely shits on just about every aspect of the fans gameday experience mostly through price gauging for everything.

I couldn't make it to the game. I always park at Hayfield. They are now charging to park there? According LSU's parking map, that lot is free.

I'm about to edit. I'm referring to the levee lot. My apologies.
