How was traffic/infrastructure? One thing that keeps me away is that you can't even catch a quick game. It's essentially an all day affair. For baseball I can leave my house in thib at 5 for a 7:00 game and be home by 11:30. For football that's 2 to midnight for the worst non conf games.

Hell, a saints game is a 6 hour turn around.

I was fortunate to have a parking pass in section 407 by the softball field but what I can say is that traffic before the game on levee rd was an absolute cluster frick bc people didn't realize the levee lot is not free this year. We left when the game ended and headed north on levee rd. We we were on I-10 west in a bout 30 minutes.

We parked in the hayfield lot across from Alex box (don't remember the number) yesterday. Is it always that difficult to get out of after the game? We sat in our parking spot watching cars pass for an hour before we even moved. What pissed me off is that there were two locked gates that you would think would be open to allow cars out. If someone had an emergency, well then they were just fricked.

Correct. Usually 30 to 60 minutes before the cars even get moving (if you stay for the entire game).

Heading to the game, if the 6 cops that were hanging out by the intersection of Nicholson/Burbank/Gourrier would have directed traffic instead had a pow wow it would be a huge help.

Leaving the game, if Nicholson wasn't a one way street and all of the cops sitting in the opposite lane in their vehicles would move and direct traffic flow away from campus that would be another huge help.

I sat in west upper last night. Had no issue with the concessions. There are 3 concession areas and all 3 had different offerings, hot dogs, burgers (regular and BBQ), white beans and rice w tasso, the Manda sausage burger, etc. There were also plenty of spots to buy drinks. Lines moved well. If you didnt see what you were looking for, check out all 3 sections. Not like it's a far walk up there.

Aramark is the worst in the business.

It's mind blowing we went under contract with them.

Traffic was again, a complete clusterfrick. I'm not sure what the cops do out there, but it ain't much.

Whoever is over the overall fan game day experience needs to be fired. They're apparently focusing on stupid shite no one cares about

I guess I will join the bitch session. No cold water in 2nd quarter in SEZ. If you buy natchos, you now have to ask for peppers. They give you a small plastic cup of them with about 6 in it, no more self serve. Add in the increased prices for everything and you get the idea that it just is getting harder to not just stay home. I have had the same season tickets for 30 years. I have to admit that last weeks game on TV was more enjoyable.

Curious if any fans who travel to SEC away games notice similar issues at other venues? Is this a problem unique to LSU?

I've been attending lsu football games since early 90s.
It's just not the same for me anymore.
Anyone that disagrees with the sentiment that lsu seems to be making harder on fans to enjoy just isn't being honest.

As others have stated, watching at home is becoming much more desirable and simply a better option, especially for crap rent a win games.

I enjoyed the game in comfort on my big screen TV. Don't miss those 4 season tickets one little bit. Between the administration continuing to charge for anything and everything and the Les Miles coma inducing offense, saving that several thousand a year was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

This.

Maybe I'd feel differently if, like back in the sixties and seventies, only one or two games a year were on TV.

But now, every game is on HDTV. That's why I pay for the SEC Network. I just enjoy it a lot more from the comfort of my recliner than put up with all the above.

It's somewhat the same everywhere.

But don't let the pumpers and the delusional fool you.

NO SEC stadium empties out like Tiger Stadium.

Ain't even close.

In a stadium that can hold 102k, there should be plenty of convenient concession options on your own level (especially because the athletic department makes more $ the more they sell). People do enough walking with the parking these days.

In west upper all 3 concession areas are essentially all right next to each other. One section ends, another starts. Not like other places in the stadium.

To me you either have a passion for the Gameday experience, are willing to pay for it, and live with negatives, or you don't. But you can forget LSU being a big time program if they don't generate the revenue.

Traffic will always be a clusterfrick. It is simple physics. Accept that and move on with life.

All these complaints. It's sad.

A. I did not travel to the game, I stayed home in Houston

B. I'd be ok with charging for parking if they'd keep the price reasonable for a 1/2 mile walk.. $20???

C. First game each year always has hiccups... hopefully they work out issues

D. No excuse for Aramark ... we're paying them a fee to manage this, and they can't reasonably estimate volumes, keep stock, and staff... sad

E. Yet... after game 1 a large and loud cry was voiced to "Pay Aranada HC money".... with what money... ???

New VetMed RV lot is pretty nice. Bigger spots and still first come first served. Lots of empty spaces and will probably not sell out all season. Down side is moving free levee lot makes have big tailgates more challenge.

Biggest issue was no one knew what status of 413 was, and we were told both it was reserved, but free for last nights game.

I would pay $20 for either lot, $50 is excessive and the lots will remain empty.
