Why is it petty? I think it's pretty awesome. I hope he uses the funds to push his 2020 campaign. At least he is pushing the USA as a brand, and not breaking it down to just a Republican shirt or Democrat turtle neck.

I'm not mad about anything.
It is highly unethical for the President to use his position to get on tv and promote something he makes money off of. If it was an honest mistake he should simply donate all proceeds from the sales of his hats to help those affected by the storm. Would be a smart move politically too.

It is literally mind numbing, that during a tragedy like this, President Trump goes to a great American city, wears a USA hat and gets ridiculed for it by the media. Do liberals really think that this kind of stuff is what's going to win them elections? Our president was simply conveying a message that the USA is behind Texas during this awful time! I feel like I'm taking crazy pills! By the way, they also have a piece about how Houston and the Governor of Texas deserve this because they are the enablers of climate change because of "big oil".
