I would advise everyone to refrain from trying to stop ANTIFA from tearing down any monuments in NOLA. At this point, one mustn't believe in the Mayor's desire to protect these monuments or interfere with ANTIFA in any way.
This is a deliberate revolutionary movement whose purpose is to force everyone on the sidelines to takes sides and declare that you are with:
1) ANTIFA/BLM/Democrats: on the side of freedom and diversity
2) NAZI National Socialists worshiping Adolf Hitler and the KKK genocidal killers, currently led by Donald Trump.
Those are the sides being presented to We the People, or, as the Left called us: the masses.

Yeah, what an idiotic statement.
Last year I took my GF, who had never been, to NO and we did the whole Jackson Square thing including pictures at the statue. It was great and very memorable for us.
I guess on the positive side, if they removed the Jackson statue, there would be more room for vagrants to move in.
