When do you expect him to move back to safety? This guy is the next Jamal Adams. IMHO

Apparently Delpit and Harris are both good enough to allow a player like Stevens to play receiver. This is saying nothing of former blue chip safety Eric Monroe.

Despite what many seem to think, this is a good thing.

Short answer: no

Long answer: they saw him play safety during the spring and opted to move him to WR based on the fact that they like what they have in Todd Harris and grant delpit. Those guys will still be playing safety next year.

Go watch Jacoby's film. I'm not sure why he wasn't pegged as a WR all along. The boy has mad skills.

If that were true, he wouldn't be moving to WR the first day of fall camp.

Maybe never. Depends where he falls in the WR depth chart and how are other safeties come along. He might end up as a nickle if Delpit and Harris are that good at safety.

LSU fans have latched onto Stevens because of his recruiting rankings and high school films. Why does he have to be the next great safety? We have two other guys that can be the next great safety. Maybe the GOAT LSU safety tandem if they are as good as the coaches have claimed them to be. I'm gonna go ahead and trust the coaches on this one.

I think Paris is the only safety we lose after this year. Unless Battle blows up and decides to leave early.

So it's not like the safety depth chart clears out after this season.

TODD HARRIS AND GRANT DELPIT ARE BETTER AT SAFETY I THOUGHT ERIC MONROE WOULD BE A STUD BUT I GUESS HE'S JUST GOING TO BE ONE OF THEM SPECIAL TEAM GUYS

I think he'll catch 20+ passes this season and will never be seen on defense again.

Staff is ridiculously high on Delpit. They're seeing something that we will, too. Soon...
