Being serious: so it's not like other cancers that can lay dormant for decades?

Now that I've spewed my bile and possibly gotten myself banned.

Brain cancer is often caught early due to the tumor having no where to grow without putting pressure on the brain and causing side effects which are quickly noticeable.

Treatment can help, but this condition can't be cured

Glioblastoma tumors are usually highly malignant, or cancerous. These are grade 4 tumors, which means they can grow fast and spread quickly.

These treatments cannot cure glioblastoma, but they can put it into remission. In remission, your symptoms may let up or disappear for a time.

Glioblastomas often regrow. If yours does, it can be treated with surgery and a different form of radiation and chemotherapy.

Sounds like it will likely be a short battle.

Only Liberals have been the ones to not wish him the best so far. Instead they are hoping Repubs say something so they can get another "gotcha" because that's more important than a person's health.

GBM are motherfrickers. They are very aggressive and, considering McCain's age, treatment is less likely to work.

I think you meant the Comey hearing. Even after that hearing he seemed confused. I remember him looking terribly uncomfortable in a hearing before that as well. Know I posted about it.

Thoughts and wishes for senator McCain's family and a full recovery.

I don't like his politics but am thankful for his service to our country.

Who replaces him? What is the process?

If he can't finish his term a new senator will be named by the governor and then a new one elected soon after.
