Popeye's Buffet

The GOAT
Popeye's is still the GOAT fast food. Popeye's buff was beyond GOAT level, it was basically heaven.

Then again, I don't eat Popeyes because I'm not trashy

Sorry you live in a trashy area.

I've noticed that there are many really nice Popeye's with fantastic customer service, as long as it's in a nice town. Meaning, when I lived in Louisiana and downtown Orlando, Popeye's customer service was the worst.

Then I moved to Texas, and the 2 near me are fantastic. Not quite Chick Fil A level great, but in that general vicinity of good.

There was a buffet at the Popeyes near Tanger Mall in Gonzales a while back, good times.

The last time I ate at Popeye's their chicken was about that small. I feel your pain.

I ate at the one in Gainesville, west of campus, a few weeks ago. It was bland and very generic. Their staff was better than Popeye's or BK though.

I couldn't live near a Popeyes buffet. I don't trust myself to know when to quit.

Florida avenue, near cortana (isn't that the mall near the Village italian restaurant?)

$3 unlimited spicy chicken, fries, red beans, ice cream, you name it.

back in the late 1980s this was my go to when i could scrape up the three bucks.

Surely others on here remember it.

When I was in high school, probably 2-3 times per week my Mom would get home from work with either a 20 piece chicken nugget from Popeyes, or give me $5 to go to Popeyes for the buffet, which was in the plaza in my neighborhood.

Some healthy eating back in my high school days!!!

When I was working in Panama City a few years ago, they had a buffet at one of the locations there. Had never seen one before that.
The article says they called the one there and they said it had been shut down but they were trying to get it back.
