Fun fact:

The producers didn't Sophie Turner her wash her hair during filming of Game of Thrones.
We stayed at the excellence for our honeymoon as well.

Enjoyed it.

Make sure you arrange for someone from the resort to pick you up from the airport.

These are always strange requests. If you want private dining, stay at home or order room service.

I agree with you 100%, but you know how women can get.

They like to get all dressed up, and get their make up/hair fixed.

Can't let her do all that and just order room service while I'm in my boxers and a tee shirt

Private dining for two

Posted by nguyt518 on 1/8/19 at 9:21 am
Taking the wife out for her birthday, and wanted to have a nice/quiet dinner.

Looking for something similar to the bombay club's private dining.

We are staying at the Hotel Monteleone.

If someone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

My issue with treated lumber, especially stuff not dried is how much of it will twist and bow as it dries out.

May be able to find some that are kdat.
Kiln dried after treatment.

Basically stick it in the oven and pulls most of the moisture out.
There's this one kid on the Franklin 12U team.

Lord Jesus, he's probably 6'2" 180# and fast af.

Seen him hit an absolute BOMB at a qualifer earlier this summer.
Was driving home with a buddy of mine one night, well my wife texted me, asking me to pick her something up to eat.

I don't like to text and drive, so I told my buddy to text her, "I got some dick for you to eat."

Get home at 1:30am cst, my mother in law texted me. I see the preview, it said "excuse me?"

I'm thinking in my head...wtf?

I opened the message, read it, and my buddy accidentally sent the message to my mother in law instead of my wife...

192mph in a 2008 Corvette.

Young and dumb, looking back, wasn't the best idea.

My sons teacher said he’s having trouble keeping his attention in class. He’ll forget to sign his name to each page or sometimes skips a math problem or two on tests. He makes all A’s but often talks to others during class so his conduct grade suffers. His teacher said he’s very bright and this isn’t a red flag yet, but more like a yellow. Not sure what to do at this point, but looking at maybe having him see a professional. Anyone else have issues like this with their child? The teacher doesn’t think it’s ADD but wants us to watch him closely.

Swear you described my kid to the T.
He's 9 now, and he's slowed down a bit.

A student in math/science/reading, B student in everything else.

Always forgets to put his name on tests papers.

Came home with a F on his math test one time, looked at it, test was on simple subtraction, he did addition for all the questions... :banghead:
I did this not too long ago.

My 2 year old woke up from a dead sleep, and projectile vomited EVERYWHERE. I freaked out bc I have never seen a grown person vomit this much.

I did enjoy the rat back in the day, many a throw downs in that place. The OLD tampicos bar, peppers in berwick, the rat and legends at the hotel.

Now you're showing your age

He's gotta be joking
It all depends on what you're looking for in the city/town.

Morgan City/Berwick/Bayou Vista area offers great fishing/hunting.

Public schools are pretty damn good.

One huge con is the housing market (pricing/availability).
quote:

Ill look into it again, but years ago I decided against it. If I remember correctly, if your house isn't built (I assume plumbing and venting), its not worth it. Also, we are only planning on staying in this house another 5 years or so.

They make ventless units now.

Following prices are for the material only, not labor:
50gal natural gas are around $500

Tankless units are going for $1000-1300
You better look into where you're going to store it.

The first year we had our party barge, we used it just about every weekend from the end of spring-early fall.

Then it got to be a pain in the arse because it's so big, and the warehouse we keep it at is a really tight fit.

Picking it up and getting it back into the warehouse was my biggest gripe, other than that, we definitely got our moneys worth.

Can’t imagine the insurance on them

I was 21 and purchased a 2008 Corvette.

Insurance with State Farm was $1200/6mos for 50/100 coverage.

Switched to Geico and it dropped to $720/6mos for the same coverage.

I'm guessing the average annual mileage on a Corvette is relatively low, and the average age of a Corvette owner is usually older.
Got a ticket for expired license plate sticker before.

Called in, they just said to provide a receipt that you gota new sticker and they will waive the ticket.
I'm selling a 6 passenger one.

Probably 3-4 years old. Just changed the batteries a few months ago.
