That is a massive diaper. Do old people shite up their lower backs?

Thankfully I have no clue about that.

If they're sitting or lying most of the day, yes.

90s WAFB is the greatest

Old school news was the best. I did some work in John Mahaffey's (sp?) house on Nicholson years ago. He had automatic weapons laying all over the place. Looked like a mafia stash house. He told us to to move anything out of the way that we needed and left. I was impressed.

Quick highjack...
Did Jordy Hultberg and Greg Bowser do that live call-in show on Sunday nights on WAFB or another network?

I ate lunch once at Roger's restaurant off Bluebonnet a couple of weeks before he hung himself. He was in absolutely terrible condition. He was rail thin and visibly shaking. I couldn't believe how bad he looked as I'd not seen him since he was on WAFB and didn't realize how ravaged he was physically.
I paid in cash and it took him several attempts to return the correct change and he seemed visibly frustrated and sad by his struggles. It was a depressing lunch to say the least.
He was a drinker, right? Were there any other substances?

It was too soon and unfortunate.
I think (not sure) he had just published a cookbook about a year or so before he died.

Same here. My buddies and I would go there all the time for lunch that Summer. We enjoyed the banter with him and his cook. Some days he seemed in good spirits other times not. The food was great at first then started to decline along with his demeanor and physical appearance. As far as I know he was just drinking a lot of alcohol.

You should wish/hope/pray that ....
1. You never have to witness this with someone you love.
2. You are never in the situation to need a "depend".
Now ... go be tactless somewhere else.

What exactly was he saying here? I watched him all the time and have his cookbook. Try his shrimp and corn soup recipe. Lot of cans but good.
Paul Gates did a good job filling the cooking slot with Folse for many years after Vernon.
